Visit Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and stored when you use the Visit Tracker mobile application.

1. Data Storage and Offline-First Approach

Visit Tracker is designed as an offline-first application. All of your data—including patient details, visit records, invoices, and doctor profiles—is stored locally on your device using an internal database. We do not operate any remote servers, and your data is never transmitted to us or any third-party analytics services.

2. Google Drive Cloud Backup

To prevent data loss if you uninstall the app or lose your device, Visit Tracker offers an optional Cloud Backup feature using your personal Google Drive.

If you choose to link your Google Drive:

• Data Transfer: The app securely uploads a compressed backup of your local database directly to your personal Google account.
• Access Scope: We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata scope. This grants the app access to a restricted, hidden folder in your Google Drive specifically designated for app data.
• Privacy: Visit Tracker cannot read, view, or modify your personal files, photos, or documents in your Google Drive. It can only access the specific backup file that the app itself created.
• No Developer Access: We (the developers) have absolutely zero access to your Google Drive or your backup files. The connection is strictly between your device and Google's servers.

3. WhatsApp Integration

The app includes a feature to send pre-filled WhatsApp messages to your patients (e.g., visit summaries or payment receipts). This feature simply opens the WhatsApp application on your device and pre-fills the text field. No messages are sent automatically without your explicit tap, and no message data is tracked or logged by us.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
